Using a variety of procedures , our team of expert neurophysiologists diagnose a range of issues. The most common procedures are Nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyograms (EMG. During NCS, a small electrical pulse is used to stimulate and record from the nerves and muscles. During the EMG, we record naturally occurring signals from the muscles.
As well as these, our team also interpret electroencephalograms (EEG), Videotelemetry (VT), Ambulatory and Video Ambulatory recording. These are used in the diagnosis of patients with seizures and epilepsy. These are also known as brain wave tests. At select facilities we provide Magnetic stimulation evoked motor potential, other evoked potentials (EP) studies, tremor analysis, advanced EMG studies etc.
