Dr Mansoor is an experienced consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist with a wide-range of knowledge and experience. Please read the information below about his expertise and experience, in his own words: 

“I undertook my specialist training in well known and respected Neurosciences centre in Newcastle upon Tyne. This included work as a specialist trainee in Clinical Neurophysiology and Neurology departments in the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Here I trained in generic and specialized skills including nerve conduction (NCS), Electromyography (EMG), SFEMG, Evoked potentials (EP), EEG and Video Telemetry reporting. To obtain further specialist experience, I worked as a trainee in prestigious institutes like University College London hospitals. This included a post as a clinical assistant in National Neurology and Great Ormond Street hospitals. My previous consultant appointments include a substantive post in St George’s hospital London. St George’s Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in London. Here I worked as a consultant in regional Neurosciences centre-Atkinson Morely Hospital. I currently work as a consultant in York teaching hospitals NHS trust and Harrogate district Hospital."

“I have also acquired additional skills and experience by attending international courses and conferences. These include a diploma course at Uppsala University, Sweden, and the epilepsy surgery course at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA. To keep my skills and knowledge up-to-date, I regularly attend national and international meetings and conferences."

“I enjoy spending time with my family. We together go on cycling and mountain walking. We also play badminton and squash. I am currently participating in 3 peaks challenge to raise funds for cancer charity.”
